Great faithfulness Cross Stitch
His love is new every morning

The original artwork for the Great faithfulness Cross Stitch Art Card was designed on graph paper and cross-stitched with gold, pink, and light green floss on purple cloth. The border was painted with metallic inks.

The words on the back of the card are the same as on the back of the Great faithfulness card:
This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
His mercies never come to an end.
They are new every morning;
Great is Thy faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I have hope in Him.”
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him,
to those who seek Him.
It is good that he waits silently
for the salvation of the Lord.
(The prophet Jeremiah from Lamentations 3:21-26)

The words steadfast love or in some Bible versions lovingkindness are the Hebrew hesed. I have written extensively about this rich Hebrew word in the Scripture Study Living in God’s Undeserved Love and in the Art Card Stories Hesed and The Day of Atonement – Yom Kippur and Hesed.

The Great faithfulness Cross Stitch Art Card is available in the Thy Faithfulness Collection at FlowerGirlGreetings.com. To see the cover of this Collection and the other cards in this Collection, please continue scrolling.

Welcome to Shale Fragments, a collection of writings and art for individual and group use!

Teaching God’s truth and the beauty of His Word is my greatest delight! My art card company, Flower Girl Greetings, was launched in 2012 with this purpose. In April 2020, ShaleFragments.com became the gathering place for the writings.

As I have studied the rich meanings of the original Greek and Hebrew languages of the Bible, I continue to see beautiful progressions and connections that compel me to organize and convey their life-changing beauty!
