I am Hidden

May – I am Hidden
Hidden is the Hebrew tsāphan and means hidden, treasured, protected.

One thing I have asked of the Lord, that will I seek: to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to meditate in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will set me high upon a rock. Psalm 27:4-5

You have enclosed me behind and before and laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain to it. Psalm 139:5-6

Hide me in the shadow of Your wings. Psalm 17:8b

Set your mind on things above, not on things on earth for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3:2-3
(These are the memory verses on the front of the I am Hidden Art Card)

The I am Hidden Art Card is found in the Who I am Collection at Flower Girl Greetings.com
The Who I Am Journal Collection was designed to encourage reflection on the Lord’s truth each month. Each Art Card includes watercolor art, brush lettering, memory verses, Hebrew letters, a devotional, space to write personal reflections year after year, and envelopes.

When we receive Jesus the Messiah, our Father God brings us into an eternal, intimate, covenant relationship with Himself by the Holy Spirit. He gives us names that describe our identity as those who have been born again into His family. They remain constant even though the clouds of our feelings, circumstances, weakness, grief, failure, and emotions may hide their reality. We have this hope as an anchor of our souls, a hope both sure and steadfast...(Hebrews 6:19)

The devotional on the back of the I am Hidden Art Card:

I am Hidden.

The purple color in the sphere represents our Royal King. The colors of May flowers inside the sphere represent our vibrant life as we are nestled in Him. The three strands of the “H” represent the Father, Son and Holy Spirit surrounding us.

In a gathering many years ago, an elderly Indian man took a small piece of tissue paper and placed it inside a huge, heavy book. He said, “Try to find it! Wherever this book goes, the tissue will be. Likewise, we are always in Him.”

Romans 6:1-11 contains this truth – when Jesus died, we died; when He was buried, we were buried with Him; and when He was raised from the dead, we were raised to newness of life. We are where He is. We are with Him and in Him.

Jesus said, “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:3

Thank you, Lord, for hiding us in the shadow of Your wings!

Welcome to Shale Fragments, a collection of writings and art for individual and group use!

Teaching God’s truth and the beauty of His Word is my greatest delight! My art card company, Flower Girl Greetings, was launched in 2012 with this purpose. In April 2020, ShaleFragments.com became the gathering place for the writings.

As I have studied the rich meanings of the original Greek and Hebrew languages of the Bible, I continue to see beautiful progressions and connections that compel me to organize and convey their life-changing beauty!
