I Am the Vine
You are the branches.
Jesus said, “Abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.
I am the Vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:4-5)
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God. In Him I will trust. (Psalm 91:1-2)

The artwork for this Art Card was created with watercolor and italic calligraphy. I was commissioned to paint it for Reverend Robert Wade upon his first anniversary at Fairmont Presbyterian Church in Kettering, Ohio on August 1998. This is the original art as it was framed and Robert serving me at a church lunch.
