This is the Message

This is the Message
An Encapsulation of our Faith
And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you that God is Light! (1 John 1:5)

This past year, I have listened to many incredible speakers who are combatting the darkness with their expertise; they are doctors, lawyers, pastors, senators, journalists, nurses, and others willing to stand strong against the lies coming from every sector of our society. I appreciate their willingness to share their faith in Jesus as they put their lives on the line to address the relevant issues of the day.

Often, these valiant leaders don’t have much time to squeeze in the good news of Jesus if they are at a rally or being interviewed. They may mention “the blood of Jesus” or “He died for you,” and although I know God will use their boldness, a listener might think, “What? The blood of Jesus? Why would He die for me? Why His blood?” So, I was spurred to ponder how I would share the greatest message ever told to the online masses of this generation in two minutes?

I want to be sensitive to the fact that many people will not take a lot of time to understand my message. The ability to concentrate has been stunted by the continuous watching of quick snippets of information. So, I wrote this message. Perhaps it will help you, too, when you want to share your faith in a brief situation. Or maybe you will write your own message.

I also wrote The Wooing God – A Brief Summary of the Bible at ShaleFragments.com which is a longer version and is part of the text on The Bible Overview, a Learning Tool available at FlowerGirlGreetings.com .

So…This is the Message. Let the video role…

You may have heard the words, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever would believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.” But what does that mean?

The little word “so” in the original language means “in this way.” The loving God of this universe chose to love us “in this way” – by giving His life to pay for all our wrong choices and mistakes no matter how bad. You see, we turned our back on Him; we went our own way. But, the judgment we deserve for our selfishness and sin was laid on Jesus; He paid our penalty. And, yes, it’s true! If we will believe that God did this for us and if we receive His forgiveness, we will be washed clean with no guilt, and we will experience His presence. God’s amazing gift in Jesus is completely free, and you will know my message is true, because once you receive Him, He will give you new life.

And not only have you been washed clean if you believe, but let me tell you three more things:

So, won’t you come and receive His gift of life?!
